Tanami Road
NT Bitumen & Asphalt was proudly contracted by Exact Contracting, on behalf of the Northern Territory Government, to deliver a major upgrade to the Tanami Road—sealing 145 kilometres comprising roads, intersections, floodways & truck bays.
- Stage 1: 58 km between CH 271.81 and CH 330.00
- Stage 2: 91 km between CH 330.00km and CH 421.00
A robust two-coat seal design (14/7 mm and 20/10 mm) was implemented to ensure long-lasting performance in remote conditions.
We prioritised local engagement by sourcing sealing materials and bituminous products from Northern Territory suppliers wherever feasible.
This project was delivered on time, to a high standard, and received strong positive feedback from both government representatives and our contracting partner.
